Want to come to Troyes? Yes!

But first go to our training lesson and don’t pronounce the “yes”!

The phonetic spelling of this city is [trwa]. This is the same pronunciation in French as:

  • Trois: The number 3 in French. Take you time to stay more than three days to the NDIP conference.
  • Troie: The city of Troy in the ancient Greece. To attend NDIP, you don’t need to come by horse nor to besiege the town during several years. Modern trains (TER) arrive in Troyes (see beyond).

How to reach Troyes?

The city is located in the heart of southern Champagne, in the department of Aube, southeast of Paris (90 minutes) and at the crossroads of major roads and highways.

  • Two highways serve Troyes:

      •  A5 (E54) from Paris or Dijon (via the A31)
      •  A26 (E17) from Calais and Reims

  • The SNCF train station is located very close to the city center. It takes just 90 minutes to get from Paris Gare de l’Est to Gare de Troyes, with several return trips a day.
