This coach tour departs from the Troyes Convention Centre and heads south toward the Côte des Bar, the southernmost vineyard area of the Champagne region. The route includes a commented drive-through of the village of Chaource, famous for its AOP cheese and medieval church. Guests will enjoy cultural and gastronomic insights from the coach.

The journey continues through rolling vineyard landscapes dominated by Pinot Noir, leading to the village of Buxeuil. The highlight of the tour is a 1-hour guided visit and tasting at Champagne Gruet, a well-known cooperative winery of the Côte des Bar. After the visit, a short drive allows for a panoramic photo stop among the vineyards, before returning to Troyes by coach. This itinerary is designed for conference participants, combining comfort, local heritage, and Champagne discovery within a compact timeframe.

Established in the heart of the Côte des Bar since 1670, the Gruet family has been perpetuating Champagne expertise passed down from generation to generation. In 1975, Claude Gruet marked a decisive turning point by commercializing the first cuvées of Champagne Gruet. With 36 hectares of vineyards, including emblematic parcels such as Bas Gruet and Sur Gruet, Maison Gruet crafts champagnes of character that express the richness of the Côte des Bar terroir.

Today, his son Pierre-Charles Gruet continues this legacy. Together, they craft characterful champagnes, guided by a passion for wine, respect for the terroir, and a constant pursuit of quality.
