Technical merit: Is the quality of the work presented sound? Is the evaluation methodology appropriate? Does the data appear accurate? Are there any major flaws in the underlying assumptions?
Readability: Is the submission easy to understand? Factors influencing readability include writing style, grammar, spelling, excessive (or insufficient, in some cases) use of equations, inappropriate length of the submission, or incorrect font sizes.
Relevance: Is the submission appropriate for this conference? Sometimes even high-quality submissions are better suited to other events.
Originality: Will participants learn something new from this submission?
